My Site Build It Review

How I turned
passion into profit

Put simply, everybody knows something about something and that something can almost certainly be turned into a website. That website will then provide you with an income - and not just short-term income, but equity.

That something could be a passion, an interest, or simply an experience you have had. It could be a hobby or a skill that can be used to inspire others. It could be the love of using some particular products or your enthusiasm about a beautiful location.

You don’t need to employ anyone to design or create the website for you, you don’t need to understand computer language or programming and you don’t have to sell products, unless you want to.

So before I proceed further with this Site Build It review, let me explain what SBI is and, perhaps more importantly, what it is not.

It is not a get-rich-quick scheme. I did not not start making a profit with this website until it had been up and running for a good six months. However, after that, the profits increased month after month, year after year.

I proved that if you put in effort at the beginning for little return, it pays you over and over again later on, when you work much less on it. You could compare it to writing a book or a song and then enjoying the royalties every time the book is sold or the song played.

Let me be honest here and say I do mean "effort"! I must admit I found it quite overwhelming at first but if you take it very little step by little step, it does get easier and it's so exciting as you see your business growing.

So what is SBI then?

It's an all-in-one package, which offers you everything you need to be able to build a successful, content based website, on any topic under the sun.

The process is simplified to such a degree that success (i.e., profits, not the mere presence of a website) is achievable even for a beginner. For an experienced person, achieving success is even smoother.

It takes care of things like hosting, tracking, search engine submissions and all the technical stuff, while teaching you about keyword research and good content writing.

The other route to creating a website

This is a Site Build It review so let's compare SBI to the other way of making a website.

Someone I know had a good business doing hair and make-ups for weddings. She wanted to make a website to promote this business further and get a wider customer base.

She knew someone who was a website designer who agreed to set up a 5 page site for £200 ($340).

Then she bought a domain name for $10 and paid the designer for a hosting company - $7 a month.

Then the designer charged her another £5 ($8) a month for minor updates to the site.

So, in that first year her website cost her around £312 or $530

• $340 to design and put up 5 pages
• $10 for the name
• $84 for hosting
• $96 to change little pieces of information, dates of venues etc.

Of course she still had to write the content.

It ended up to be quite a pretty site. However, not many people actually saw it. She only got visitors if she paid more to advertise it. A 5-page leaflet would have done the same job. In fact, the website was a leaflet, lost in space!

She ended up paying out quite a lot more but did not get back the business she needed to make it viable. That website sat there in space with no visitors to speak of. It did not create a profit for her, let alone an income year after year.

I've heard many similar stories but for the purpose of this Site Build It review, I hope that one is sufficient.

I have since learnt that you cannot just put up a website and expect visitors (or traffic as we call it) to drop in. Getting the traffic is a whole ball game in itself. And without traffic, you don’t have an online business.

A Site Build It site gets the traffic

Let me explain what I got for $299, the cost of the SBI package that I bought.

For $299 SBI gave me the following:

• various designs to choose from, and change if I wish
• domain name
• hosting
• step by step instructions, both written and video
• keyword brainstorming (which helps to get those visitors)
• block building (which means I don’t have to learn html, css or other web language)
• as many pages as I want to build
• an interactive site (Web2)
• search engine submission
• search engine optimization (seo)
• link tracking
• a link exchange program (increases traffic)
• traffic statistics and keyword reports
• form builders and auto responders
• list building and ability to publish an E-zine (newsletter)
• a brilliant forum for help and advice

and so very much more.

Coaching is now available too, although it wasn’t when I started. This is extra but worth it for people who might not have as much time as I did.

Not in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine that I would be able to make a website all by myself which would make me a good profit and give me so much fun.

There are no hidden charges with SBI. It is now available at $29.99 per month. So you don't have to fork out $299 all at once if you can't manage that.
