Corn Cob Race
by Jan
(Lennox Head, Australia)
You have four corn cobs per participant. These are placed at increasing distances from each runner(participant).
Each participant stands behind a starting line.
The corn cobs are placed directly in line with each paticipant (in front of the starting line at increasing distances).
The first may be 2 metres from the starting line, the 2nd - 4 metres. The 3rd - 6 metres and the 4th - 8 metres.
When a whistle is blown the runners must retrieve one corn cob at a time and place them behind the starting line.
The first to get all corncobs back behind the starting line is the winner.
You can have heats and finals if there are a lot of participants.
