I love working on my site. It’s an on-going process. Every week I can revise this facts and figures page, add a recipe or game, change a picture or correct a mistake I’ve just noticed. That makes it so different from writing a book and much more fun for me. I can recommend products and change those recommendations in the twinkling of an eye if necessary, so that the information is always up to date. The Picnic Site will never go “out of print”! I find the world-wide web really fascinating. There are more than 100 million sites out there, and rising, and I’m very proud to say that this site’s popularity is up there in the top 1%. I find that more than a little amazing but here is the proof, from Alexa:- (the lower the number the more popular the site, so the furthest away from 100,000,000 the better!)

In July 2009 this site had a total of 44,590 visits and 113,082 page views. That's an average of 1,438 visitors a day, viewing 3,647 pages. I also get very excited :) when I see a new country join the network of visitors and I immediately change this facts and figures page!
