London, RHS Chelsea Flower Show

The Chelsea Flower Show is fabulous - apart from all the people! Just trying to get to the picnic area was a nightmare, let alone finding somewhere to sit.

You certainly cannot spread out so don't take a lavish picnic! A sandwich and a bottle of water will have to suffice here.

My advice - have a good breakfast and skip the picnic lunch or buy something at one of the stands, along with a glass of Pimm's.

Enjoy the gardens though - they are fantastic.
