Things to do on a Picnic
Join in! Please suggest one of your most-liked outdoor games or activities - things to do on a picnic.
Others may be in need of inspiration and you can help! Our community of picnickers would really appreciate your ideas.
What do you do?
What you do when you have a country picnic? Perhaps you can suggest something relating to birds or animals, wild flowers or even fruit? How about a game played in the grass, in the trees, or by a river?
Think about what you do when you have a seaside picnic. What do you do with driftwood and flotsam, pebbles, shells and sand? What games do you play at the edge of the sea or ocean, or in the dunes?
Perhaps you know about a fun game, which can be played in, with or around water - children and adults love splashing about getting wet on a hot day - whether in the sea, river or pool.
Do you maybe have an adult only game that could be repeated here on a family site?! Or a very simple game that the kids always look forward to playing outside?
Which outdoor races do you and your friends enjoy the most? What ball games create the most excitement? Car or long journey games can also be played at picnics. Which ones do you play with your children?
