Enjoy a great day out punting on the River Cherwel in Oxford.

Take a picnic and eat before you punt or enjoy an alfresco meal on the riverbank downstream. We even found a picnic table!

You need to be quite an experienced punter to do this because you have to tie up, get out and make sure your craft doesn't float away! Not as easy as it sounds but we managed it, just!

We were lucky to chose a beautiful sunny day and had a wonderful time.

I can thoroughly recommend a day out on the River Cherwell in Oxford.
