My daughter was married at Wiegand's Lake Park in Novelty, Ohio, on a beautiful deck right on the lake. She and her attendants made a grand entrance down an outdoor stairs to the wedding deck as her husband-to-be and groomsman entered from a small footbridge. They met and joined hands as they stepped on the deck.

Flowers decorated the steps, the bridge, the trees, the aisles of white chairs, and the white wedding arbor. As we all faced the minister, we looked beyond to the prettiest backdrop of glistening water and a landscape of nature at its best.

After the ceremony, we adjourned to our wedding picnic with delicious food served under 150 year old trees. The older folks mingled while the younger set went on paddle boat rides, played corn toss, and hiked around the park.

At dinner time, we adjourned up to the old fashioned dance hall, where a lovely dinner was served from the spacious, warmly-lit deck. We took our plates inside where the candlelit tables were set up right on the dance floor!

After dinner and cake, the music began and we danced and danced! What a perfect, magical day! And place! It couldn't have been better. :)
